We have secured a building, established a very experienced executive committee and found some keen volunteers.

We need to modernise the kitchen,
adapt the toilet to be wheelchair accessible,
build a ramp and lay a floor.
Any offers of help most welcome.

Coming together to establish a self funding group with security of tenure, thus ensuring continuity in providing a resource for the Bantry area.  Then to be a model for other communities to create similar centres.

Our aim is to facilitate a welcoming atmosphere in which people can relax and relate with each other without commercial pressure. Where one can get a hot drink, food, information and support, or just chat and play.

A project to encourage community by:
Offering a space in which people are welcome to visit and exchange ideas, goods, services without having to be constrained by financial considerations.

Providing meeting facilities and an accommodation address for other groups.
Encouraging local groups to assist each other and optimise resources.
Utilising what might have been thrown away to reduce the cost to the earth.

Sharing skills and needs to optimise our quality of life both formally with Counselling and Mentoring advice and informally by chatting over a cuppa.
Somewhere to support and be supported

If you are willing to assist in anyway, or if there is something you need support with, whatever it might be, please get in touch with us:
